yet another odd turn in work, decided to try and brush up on my character sculpting a bit since I've done soo much env stuff lately.

Not the best, but pretty much as far as I got without using my ref images. I'll load them up and mold this guy into better proportions soon enough.

Small update, but heres the belt updated. Still needs texture tweaks, but i got the animation of the gears and belt to work. The light also has a glow map too. Had some free time during lunch and did a quick first pass on a sword fish dagger!

Tribalmans Teeth Brush



ok, think I'm pretty much finished with this. Might make some texture tweaks, but I think I'm moving onto the next item on my list. :)



also an update. I set a goal to challenge myself on using the source engine. I wanted to get a model in with multiple models, animated bones and an animated texture. So far I have all of those working perfectly with a base texture. After I polish this more, I'll enable the ability to make the light turn on and off depending when the player is in a lit or unlit area.

Another shotty



So, I guess I never posted up the final render of the streetsweeper shotty I did a while back. Seems the most common thing I make for tf2 are shotguns. I've got a secret project/collection I'm building now so when its done and I have the go sign, I'll post them up as well.

Steam friend modeled and uv'd this model for team fortress and asked for me to texture it. Unluckily the day I began to work on it... we started to crunch at work. Things with the uv's I would have liked to change to make texturing easier, but without much time I decided to keep the original uv's. Maybe when things die down at work I'll give it a personal uv job and retexture it.

Started to work on an engie backpack for tf2. Decided to put in on the backburner for a bit and get some hp work in. Also, the last scene I was working on has more progress, I just need to get around to getting some good lighting and shots.

new year resolution


Due to my current project at work, I haven't made a complete environment myself from start to end, so I'm hoping to get those gears going again. Giving UDK a try and hoping this won't take more than a month!!

Just the shell right now. Mats, uvs aren't done on it, but once I can get it fleshed out I'll do a perty paintover for the next stage. :)

If anyone has ever played minecraft then you have probably encountered a creeper. Just thought I'd take a shot at redesigning it in a more realistic view. The in game version is a block green monster with 4 legs. My vision is a slime covered demon.

Spurs!!



Never got around to finishing these to submit with my polypack. Hoping that maybe with these they'll complete my set and further the odds of my pack getting put in game!!.

thinking they'll be a misc item, attaching to the bip_foot bones. There is only one other shoe item in game, so hopefully this could be a possible hit for people to customize their character other than their head.

Already have 7 items submitted for tf2, going to add another. It has inspiration from a streetsweeper. Had to take some design freedom from what it looks like in real life to fit the team fortress style.
