In game pack

managed to get my pack imported into game. Lots of changes needed now that I got a better view of it. Making changes to some of the shapes and giving it some funk and wear. I decided it might best be an engineer item to go with the trap/teleporter.

Polypack Contest

So valve and polycount got together to hold a contribute theme contest. Each contestant has to create a minimum of 3 items for a single class with an overall theme and... fit into the team fortress 2 universe.

I decided on doing a "Bigger is Better" theme for the engineer.

My first weapon is the "Big Mean Mother Hubbard". Its an oversized shotgun/blunderbuss that shoots metal bits instead of normal ammo. Its currently at around 4,700 tris and using a 1024x2 diffuse.



my second item is the "Big Tex" revolver. Its oversized in size and ammo capacity. Untextured at the moment, its the last one to get textured.



The last item is "The Big Bang" mallet. It replaces the engineer wrench.

been getting cabin fever at home with Anne at work. Decided I'd go in to the office to get motivated and make some stuff. did a quick double sided brick and just re-used it all over the place.
